WomenBizSENSE is participating in the 8 March International Women’s Day Celebration at Beach Street this year. We will be there from 9am to 1pm. Our members will be exhibiting their products and you can meet some of our WBS Committee who will be on duty that day. Above all, come and have fun and revel and celebrate the fact that we’re women!

WCC or Women’s Centre for Change is spearheading this celebration as part of its 30th anniversary activities.
To commemorate its 30th anniversary and International Women’s Day (IWD), WCC in partnership with 13 other women’s organizations, is celebrating IWD on 8 March 2015, Sunday, from 9am to 1pm, at Occupy Beach Street and The Whiteaways Arcade.
This event is supported by the Penang State for Women, Family and Community Development Committee.
The celebration continues from 1pm to 5pm at The Whiteaways Arcade with activities organised by the Penang-IWD 2015 Organising Committee.
In line with the IWD theme, ‘Make It Happen’, a series of exciting activities to encourage all Malaysians to bring about change by saying no to violence will take place.
From 9am-11am, there will be dazzling songs, dances and martial art performances, as well as stalls and fun games for the public to enjoy.
From 11am-1pm, WCC’s publication, “Hear Our Stories”, will be launched with songs and readings.
From 1pm-5pm, art and cultural activities including film screening, a mosaic-making workshop, and a photography exhibition, have been organised.
